Let’s assume, that you are from the south of Poland. There is a big chance, that you are sure that you already know plenty about your country and you take into consideration other regions of it to be very similar to your city. Nonetheless, that may be a mistake (find out). Why? the answer is very simple. Because if you live in the South of Poland, it is more similar to, for instance, Slovakia, that to Gdansk. Due to that, even though the language is different, there is a big probability that the culture and cuisine you are familiar with, are more similar to these of neighboring country, than to different side of Poland.
Consequently, why won’t you take flights to Gdansk this summer. This part of your country has plenty to offer. For example, do you know the outstanding history of Gdansk? For a long time it has been 1 of the proudest city in Poland. City, which was independent for many years. City, where the story of Solidarnosc movement began. I am positive, that you already know about it from history classes from school times (click there). Nonetheless, how much you really know about it? Would you be able to present this story for any foreigner who asks you about it? And what about the local cuisine? Did you know that it has a lot more to offer than just fish? What about other parts of Poland? Possibly you would prefer to take flights to Katowice? Did you know that this is the largest metropolitan area in Central and Eastern Europe?
